What it is now

Summer Swallow Press is a personal press—the sole imprint owned and operated by its founding and principal author. During this launch phase, the press is preparing to publish, promote, and sell that author’s work. Although the first titles are still forthcoming, the website already shares knowledge and practical tools for fellow writers through blog articles and web-based apps. The initial catalogue will focus on alternate-history fiction, with occasional forays into science fiction and historical fiction.

Where we’re headed

We plan to continue supporting authors through video and interactive tutorials that share the trial-and-error lessons of our own publishing journey. Our goal is to become a comprehensive self-help resource for independent authors, offering tutorials, guides, and other useful tools.

We also envision a suite of specialized resources for historical storytellers—whether they work in fiction, fantasy, or non-fiction. Upcoming utilities may include timeline creators, family-tree builders, and map-building tools.

Over time, Summer Swallow Press aims to grow into a micro-press, taking on additional writers in historical fiction, alternate history, historical fantasy, and time-bending science fiction. That stage is still a ways off, so please note that we cannot accept or read submissions at this time.
